Mother’s Day Trip: Most Worthy Local Tour in Melbourne

2I6A1763.JPGSorry for ghosting these weeks! Was busy finishing up my work. Finally, I’m earning so can treat mom for her first Mother’s Day Trip. We planned to go Melbourne since the direct flight from Singapore is quite cheap so this is going to be our first time in Australia!

So cut to the chase, I’m going to spoil you with the best day of the trip that we joint the One-day Great Ocean Road Tour (12 Apostles Stone) by Sightseeing Tour Australia. This is probably one of the best day tour that I’ve ever joint so far, that packed with interesting itineraries, sufficient timing, breathe taking views and lunch included – what else to complain?!

7 a.m. – Pick up at hotel

10 a.m. – Great Ocean Drive Entrance/ tea stop

Hungry birdies! Beware not to feed them since human food does no good to them!!

Yes! The tour provided tea and biscuit so we can stretch our legs and enjoy the view a bit, how sweet is that!

11 a.m. – Wild Koala spotting

DSC00016Spotting a Koala is a tough task. So wherever there’s a group of people looking up and pointing their camera to, there’s probably a Koala on the tip of the tree. Beware that you don’t disturb their natural habitat and don’t try to wake them or feed these precious fluffy guys!

12 n.n. –  Lunchtime!

1.30 p.m. – Rainforest walk

Half an hour walk in the ancient rainforest with the second tallest species of tree on earth.

2.30 p.m.- Secret spot to see the 12 Apostles

Because our tourmates are awesome and always on time so we got this extra!

3.30 p.m. -12 Apostles

According to our guide, the day was the only sunny day in 2 weeks! This is such a blessing ❤

5 p.m. – Island Archway

2I6A1879

8 p.m. – Reach Melbourne CBD

I highly recommend this tour since it covers quite a lot of stops so you won’t get bored of the long ride. On my next post will be talking more about the trip! See ya 😀
